Laurence Howe has a long track record of personnel
innovation initiatives. In 1980 he helped pioneer a new
type of vocational training, whereby students were taught
in a team environment, where they selected modules
and moved from module to module to build up a personal skills
profile. In 1985, he helped to develop a mobile training
initiative, developing new skill profiles to fit a peripatetic
training organisation. In 1993 he began an initiative to bring
a technical perspective to management issues, which resulted
the birth of a spin-off consultancy. More recently he has
completed an MBA, where his project was the development of a
model for corporate innovation. The model was
the original basis of the Innovation Pages on this website and lends its name to the whole website.
